Paul McCartney’s son – James McCartney starts a debut tour

The son of the living legend – Paul McCartney, James McCartney announced he is going to start his first tour.
In February the 32 years old musician performed 14 concerts in the United Kingdom together with his band called “Light”. The tour is planned to start from the hometown of “The Beatles” – Liverpool on February 25th and to finish on March 20th in Cardiff.
McCartney junior will also visit York, Newcastle, Manchester, Nottingham, Tunbridge, Wales, Brighton, London, Bristol, Edinburgh, Birmingham and Glasgow. It is assumed that the tour’s aim is to promote James’ first album which is expected to be released in the United Kingdom later this year.
In the album there are songs written in the last 10 years and according to McCartney junior the songs were inspired by bands like The Beatles, Nirvana, The Cure and Radiohead.
It is an interesting fact that it will not be the first time when James McCartney will be a part from a tour after he participated like a guitarist in his father’s tour in the United States in 2005. Besides that James has also participated in 2 of his father’s solo albums called Flaming Pie(released in 1997) and Driving Rain(released in 2001).
