The highly anticipated movie “Michael Jackson’s This Is It” have made more than $100 millions just for the first five days of its release. Based on the hugely success of the movie, the distributor “Sony” will extend its run beyond the original two weeks screening ( October 28, to November 12, 2009 ).

The movie is a documental about the rehearsals of Michael Jackson for his concert series “This is it”, but canceled because of his death. The film shows Michael mentoring his team for the shows and creating and staging some high-tech performances. The original release date for this movie was scheduled for 30 October, but after a strong demand from the fans, Sony released it on 28 October.
