The next big project is on it’s way to conquer the world music market. And the main initiator this time is again the incredible rapper Jay-Z who definitely knows how it is done when doing something.

After the success of “Run this town” with Rihanna and Kanye West, Jay-Z is releasing a new single called “Empire state of mind”. He is performing it together with Alicia Keys.

The track is built around a sample from “Love on a two-way street” by “the Moments” mixed with hip-hop, soul and electric pop. The result is quite good. (you can check out the video below if you don’t believe me :) )

I have to admit that Alicia Keys also contributes a lot to the track by demonstrating her incredible voice capabilities in the chorus.
